Work Summary 
The candidate filling this Software Systems Engineer – Lead - JD Edwards CNC position will be responsible for providing support for the various environments related to the deployment and support processes for JD Edwards Enterprise One. This individual will work as part of the engineering team supporting a variety of Development teams, the Software Test group and 3rd party vendor Infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for work with development teams and provide assistance regarding the following:

Make design recommendations regarding system level components
Assist with integration of applications and report back/resolve any issues with development
Use of installation packaging technologies
Knowledge of Client environments and architectures
Operations and production supportability
Monitor the overall system
Work with 3rd party vendor to coordinate maintenance schedules
Work with 3rd party vendor for infrastructure upgrades and patches
Work with Performance Engineer to assist on tuning of applications
Work with other groups within SR&T (EAO, IPO, Release Management, Software Test and Change Management) in their daily activities.
Work in a team environment
Ensure security standards are being followed
Deployment of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne packages to Client environments
Responsible for maintenance, support and deployment of the JDE OneWorld/EnterpriseOne application
Perform day-to-day support, administration and problem resolution Enterprise One application. Also responsible for the daily maintenance, patch updates and testing
OMW installation, setup and project promotion and administration
Server and client package build and deployments
Apply ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Service Pack upgrades
JDE Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW
Create and manage environments, path codes and instances
Monitor and manage application system performance and availability
Install configure and maintain SOA applications in a clustered, load balanced high-availability environment
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience:  The ideal candidate must have technical knowledge within the deployment, engineering and support roles. This candidate should have 9 years of experience in JD Edwards CNC, with the software development life cycle, preferably in the Integration or Systems/Software Engineering capacity.

Education
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with coursework in the information processing or business-related curricula, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
